PRIVACY POLICY
Bat Flap — last updated 28 August 2026
Bat Flap is made by Rock Monk Studios. This policy explains what the app does
with data. The short version: the game collects as little as it can, shows no
ads, sells nothing, and never sells or shares your data with advertisers.
WHAT STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
Your coin balance, unlocked bats, chosen difficulty and sound setting are stored
locally on your iPhone using the system's standard app storage. We cannot see
them. Deleting the app deletes them.
WHAT LEAVES YOUR DEVICE
Leaderboard scores. When a run ends, the score, the difficulty and the display
name shown in game are sent to our leaderboard service so they can appear on the
public boards. Anyone playing Bat Flap can see the entries on those boards.
An anonymous player account. The app signs in to a player account so your scores
stay attached to you across sessions. If you are signed in to Game Center, your
Game Center identity is used to create that account and your Game Center
nickname becomes your display name. If you are not, an anonymous account is
created and a random name is generated for you. The app never asks you to type a
name, so no name you choose yourself is ever sent.
These services are provided by Unity Gaming Services, which acts as our data
processor and may also process technical identifiers such as a device or
installation identifier in order to operate the service. Unity's privacy policy
is at unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy
WHAT THE APP DOES NOT DO
- No advertising, and no advertising or tracking SDKs.
- No in-app purchases and no payment information of any kind.
- No access to your contacts, photos, location, camera or microphone.
- No selling or sharing of personal data with third parties for their own purposes.
CHILDREN
Bat Flap is suitable for all ages. It does not knowingly collect personal
information from children beyond the display name and score described above, and
there is no chat, messaging or user-to-user communication in the app.
YOUR CHOICES
You can play the entire game offline, in which case no data leaves your device
and no scores are submitted. Your display name comes from your Game Center
nickname, which you can change at any time in the Settings app on your iPhone
under Game Center.
To ask what data is associated with your player account, or to have it deleted,
email [your support email] and tell us the display name shown on your
leaderboard entries. Deleting your account removes your entries from the boards.
CHANGES
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a
new date at the top.
